How to check aadhar card link to mobile number

To check if your Aadhaar card is linked to your mobile number, you can follow these steps:

1. Visit the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) website: Go to the official UIDAI website at https://uidai.gov.in/.

2. Click on "Verify Aadhaar Number": On the UIDAI website's homepage, under the "Aadhaar Services" section, click on "Verify Aadhaar Number" (direct link: https://resident.uidai.gov.in/aadhaarverification).

3. Enter your Aadhaar number: In the Aadhaar Number field, enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number as printed on your Aadhaar card.

4. Enter the security code: Fill in the security code displayed on the page. It is a 5-character code that appears as an image. If the code is not legible, you can click on "Try Another" for a different code.

5. Click on "Verify": Once you've entered your Aadhaar number and the security code, click on the "Verify" button.

6. Perform the OTP verification: On the next page, you will have the option to select either your registered mobile number or email ID to receive a One-Time Password (OTP) for verification. Choose the mobile number option.

7. Enter the OTP: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter this OTP on the webpage and click on "Verify OTP."

8. Check the response: After the OTP verification, the website will display the status of your Aadhaar card and its linked mobile number. If your mobile number is linked, it will show "Active" or "Linked" status.

Note: If your mobile number is not linked to your Aadhaar card, it is recommended to visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Centre to get it linked with your Aadhaar card.
