How to delete Instagram account

 To delete your Instagram account permanently, you can follow these steps:

**1. Visit the Instagram website:** Open a web browser and go to www.instagram.com. You cannot delete your account from the mobile app; it must be done through the website.

**2. Log in to your account:** Enter your Instagram username and password to log in.

**3. Navigate to the account deletion page:** Once you are logged in, click on your profile picture located in the top-right corner of the page to access your profile. From there, click on the "Settings" gear icon next to the "Edit Profile" button.

**4. Access the "Help Center" section:** In the settings menu, scroll down and click on the "Help Center" option located at the bottom of the page.

**5. Explore the "Managing Your Account" section:** In the Help Center, you will find various help topics. Look for and click on the "Managing Your Account" section.

**6. Select the "Delete Your Account" option:** In the Managing Your Account section, click on the "Delete Your Account" option.

**7. Choose account deletion option and provide a reason (optional):** Instagram will present you with two options – "How do I delete my account?" and "How do I temporarily disable my account?". Choose "How do I delete my account?" to proceed. Optionally, you can provide a reason for deleting your account.

**8. Re-enter your password and delete account:** After choosing the account deletion option, you will be asked to re-enter your password for verification. Enter your password, then click "Permanently delete my account."
